George W Shadbolt would be my grandfather-in-law. He owned a pair of beautiful spurs for his entire life, though his riding theories prevented their use most of the time. His spurs were passed down to his daughter and unfortunately someone stole one of them. This is a drawing of the remaining spur. This drawing presented a challenge because the spur is a matte brown metal and it has bits of shiny silver details on it. The silver reflects but the brown does not, making some very odd reflection patterns.
