This piece features my sister Heidi with her Wade saddle. The original title for this piece was "Unwanted Hours" because it celebrates the early risers, the people who use the hours that "no one else wants", the 3AM -6AM crowd who get things done before anyone else wakes up. Successes are made of such sacrificies. I have retitled it "First in the Saddle" because I think it conveys the same idea and mentions the focus of this piece, the saddle!
This piece is charcoal on paper with Optium museum glazing and has a fabulous Montgomery Frame.
